Welcome to ZOTAS, an innovative online platform designed to facilitate the analysis of fluorescence images of zebrafish for research and educational purposes. By accessing or using ZOTAS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

ZOTAS provides its service to you, subject to the following Terms, which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. You are advised to review the Terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes.

2. Privacy and Personal Data

The limited data we collect upon subscription is not and will not be used commercially or in any other ways apart from sending informational email messages. Our privacy policies are in compliance with the GDPR and other relevant European regulations.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content: You retain all rights to the fluorescence images of zebrafish ("Content") that you upload to ZOTAS.

ZOTAS Rights: All rights, title, and interest in and to the ZOTAS platform and its components, including any software, documentation, visual interfaces, graphics, design, compilation, information, data, computer code (including source code and object code), services, and all other elements of ZOTAS are owned by Zebrafish-Research. Your use of the platform does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the ZOTAS platform or the content you access.

4. Use of the Platform

You agree to use ZOTAS only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of ZOTAS. Prohibited behavior includes transmitting obscene or illegal content.

5. Warranty Disclaimer

ZOTAS is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Zebrafish-Research makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of ZOTAS or the information, content, materials, or products included on the platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

Zebrafish-Research will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of ZOTAS, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the European Union.
